Conveniently located only 15 minutes from Bloomington and 35 minutes from Champaign. We're just 1/2 mile east of Moraine View State Park (Dawson Lake).

Welcome to LONE RIDGE FARM, 43.5 aces of family fun with horses, dogs, kittens and even a goat! We offer stalled, pasture, and overnight horse boarding, horse training, and riding lessons. No boring mowed grass paths here - our own extensive trails feature streams, woods, brush, and open fields that allow excellent trail riding and training experiences for all types of horses and riders. And at Moraine View State Park, just 1/2 mile down the road, there are 15+ more miles of additional trails. (Unfortunately the State Park was closed to the public 11/30/08, due to lack of State funding, but our trails are available year round!)

College degreed (BS, Animal Science), full-time owner/operator, Jeanie Andrew has extensive knowledge and experience in total horse care far beyond simply riding and training skills.

A barn should be more than just a place to park your horse. We are professionals in the equine and canine industries. This is our only occupation. We devote 100% of our working hours to our stable and kennel business and are not employed elsewhere. All of our operations are fully insured.

We are a licensed kennel and designated dog training area.

We breed German Shorthair Pointers and Vizslas. Vizsla puppies born Oct 31! Reserve your puppy now. We also offer training and "tune-up" of upland game bird dogs Please feel free to contact us with any questions you might have.
